Fall cleanup is the 3rd Saturday in “October” 8:00 am to 3:00 PM
It is illegal to dispose the following items at the Beetown Township Dump. Hazardous material, yard waste,
tires/auto parts, batteries, major appliances, fluorescent light bulbs, chemical products, paint, paint thinner &
remover cans, herbicides and pesticides, radioactive materials, no free liquids, asbestos or electronics, Demo,
mattresses, flooring etc, disposal of oil filters or oil absorbent materials, including granular absorbents, cloth
absorbents, & paper towels, electronics, Computers, computer monitors, mice & keyboards, printers,
scanners, fax or copy machines, televisions, DVD players, VCRs and DVRs, computer accessories including hard
drives, speakers, flash drives & modems, and cell phones. There is a $1,000 fine for any of the above being
brought to the dump. This list may not be complete. If questions pleases contact a board member.
Recycling bin items: (DO NOT PUT IN TRASH DUMPSTERS)
PLEASE RINSE, CLEAN AND REMOVE LIDS
GLASS PLASTIC TIN CANS & Aluminum
Do not brake them; Labels are ok Must have recycling symbol 1-7 Please Rinse
Soda, beer, wine & liquor bottles; Please rinse clean Empty aerosol cans are ok
Juice & food containers, catsup bottles, NO caps or lids Aluminum foil
GLASS “NOT” ACCEPTABLE. ITEMS FOR CARDBOARD & PAPER BIN:
Mirrors, ceramic cups & plates, clay All items must be clean and flattened
Flower pots, crystal, light bulbs, window glass Corrugated cardboard, boxboard
Heat resistant ovenware, drinking glasses (Cereal, pop, etc.)
Newspapers, Magazines, Catalogs
NOTICE: TO RESIDENTS OF TOWNSHIP ROAD RIGHT-A-WAY
The Township right-a-way consists of a total width of 66 feet. To measure where
to find the boundary of the right-a-way, ends and your property begins, go to the
Center of the road and measure 33 ft out.
Because of safety issues, please do not infringe on the Township Road right-a-way.
This includes crops, fences, personal property or grazing etc. Thank you for your
