There are a number of waterways which cut through the township, including, Beetown Branch, Hackett Branch, Blake Fork, Little Grant, Pigeon Creek, Rattlesnake, and the Grant River. Some of these afford recreational activities to locals and tourists in the way of canoeing, tubing, and fishing.

The town also boasts a family friendly park at the town hall. The town hall is available for rent for all types of gatherings.
